Rapid Prototypes Ltd. are experts in Selective Laser Sintering (SLS). We run two Selective Laser Sintering Production Systems in house. With industry leading SLS capabilities we deliver on the most demanding projects. We offer a range of four 3D Systems Duraform, SLS materials. Duraform thermoplastic-like SLS materials include grades of ABS, Glass Filled  and Fibre Filled engineering plastics.  DuraForm Materials have fantastic mechanical stiffness and durability for aggressive functional use.

Duraform materials are ideal material for Low Volume Production and Direct Digital Manufacturing. Parts can be made quickly with a high degree of accuracy and are a very economical vs traditional manufacturing processes.

We have extensive quality control checks in place during the manufacturing process. We produce parts with high accuracy, good surface finishes, consistently and FASTER.

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an ideal process for producing functional parts. SLS parts have greater toughness and higher impact strength compared to other technologies. SLS parts do however lack the surface finish and fine feature details, which can be obtained with Stereolithography or Multi Jet Printing. To improve the surface quality finish  and obtain smoother surface finishes on SLS parts. We offer a number secondary finishing processes:  Bead Blasting, Vibro Polishing, Dye/Paint.

Selective Laser Sintering is an ideal process for Low Volume Production of 1-10,000 units.
